Website Use
This website is provided for information about Scarborough, its custom tailoring services, ready-to-wear products, gift cards, and related offerings.
You may use the website for lawful personal purposes. You may not interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt unauthorized access, copy or exploit website content for commercial purposes, or use the website in violation of applicable law.
Custom Tailoring
Custom tailoring commissions are conducted separately from ordinary online ready-to-wear purchases.
Garments are made according to the measurements, specifications, cloth selections, design choices, and other details agreed upon with the client.
Estimated lead times, including the typical six-to-eight-week timeframe for many custom garments, are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Timing may vary depending on cloth availability, production, shipping, fittings, adjustments, and other circumstances outside Scarborough’s direct control.
Payment for a custom commission is requested in full at the time the order is placed.
Because custom garments are made specifically for the individual client, custom commissions cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has begun, except where required by law.
Ready-to-Wear Purchases
Ready-to-wear merchandise offered through the website is subject to availability.
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, sizing, materials, photographs, and colors accurately. Displays and devices vary, so exact color reproduction cannot be guaranteed.
Scarborough reserves the right to correct errors, update product information, limit quantities, or cancel an order when necessary. If Scarborough cancels a paid order, the amount charged for the cancelled item will be refunded.
Pricing and Payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other amounts will be displayed at checkout when applicable.
Payment is due at checkout for online purchases. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors.
Shipping
Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, address errors, availability, or other circumstances outside Scarborough’s control.
If no shipment time is stated, federal rules generally require sellers to ship within 30 days or obtain the buyer's consent to a delay.
Scarborough offers complimentary shipping on domestic ready-to-wear orders. International orders will have calculated shipping added to the order.
Stocked ready-to-wear items are generally dispatched by the next business day after an order is placed.
Orders may be shipped via UPS or USPS, depending on the destination and shipment requirements.
Scarborough ships to addresses within the United States and internationally. Delivery times vary by destination and carrier and are estimates only.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Scarborough is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, weather disruptions, incorrect shipping addresses, or other circumstances outside its control.
Once an order has shipped, tracking information will be provided when available.
Returns and Exchanges
Ready-to-wear items may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery.
To be eligible, merchandise must be in brand-new, unworn, unaltered condition, with all original tags attached and original packaging included.
Eligible returns may be refunded to the original form of payment, exchanged, or issued as store credit.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Sale merchandise is final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.
Altered merchandise may not be returned or exchanged.
Custom clothing and made-to-order garments are created specifically for the individual client and are not returnable or refundable.
Scarborough reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange if merchandise does not meet the conditions above.
Altered and Custom Merchandise
Unless otherwise required by law, merchandise that has been altered, personalized, or specially made for a customer may be ineligible for return or exchange.
Any such restriction will be disclosed as part of Scarborough's applicable return policy.
Gift Cards
Scarborough gift cards may be used toward eligible purchases from Scarborough, subject to any limitations stated when the gift card is issued.
Gift cards are not credit or debit cards and are not reloadable unless Scarborough expressly states otherwise.
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Scarborough gift cards do not expire, except to the extent an exception permitted by applicable law applies.
As of April 1, 2026, California requires retailer gift cards with a remaining value under $15 to be redeemable for cash upon request.
If a gift-card code is lost, stolen, or used without authorization, contact Scarborough promptly. Replacement may depend on our ability to verify the original purchase and remaining balance.
Intellectual Property
The website and its original content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, page designs, and other materials, are owned by Scarborough or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Website content may not be reproduced, republished, sold, distributed, modified, or used commercially without written permission.
Photography and Third-Party Content
Certain photographs, trademarks, cloth names, manufacturer names, press excerpts, or other materials may belong to their respective owners and are used for identification, editorial, descriptive, or authorized promotional purposes where applicable.
